Class of Housing/Services: family shelter program, day shelter program

General Information:
Assists: homeless families and children. Provides food, clothing and shelter. We accept up to four families (14 people) and unlike some other IHNs, we do not limit the amount of time in the Network. Transportation is provided each day to and from the congregation to the Family Resource Center in Oxford, NJ. It is here that adults receive professional case management to help them overcome obstacles. Parents are helped to find jobs, child-care assistance, counseling and whatever services are needed.   Day Center Day Center is an old Presbyterian Manse and comfortable space for families to be during the day. Many families use this space while they are searching for employment, or when they are not working or attending appointments in the community. Families can rest, do laundry, cook, store food and personal belongings, access the internet, phone, and a physical mailing address, meet with the Housing Stability Case Managers, take care of their children, and be a family!
