General Information:
A Mothers Touch Supportive Housing and Counseling Inc.
Offers a warm and caring environment for men, women and children recovering from homelessness, domestic violence, incarceration, substance abuse and mental health illness.
Each resident is offered a semi-private/ private room (case by case) and works closely with in-house case managers, counselors, social workers, therapist, or peer-to-peer mentors (case by case)
We offer onsite job center with computer, printer and access to the internet with guidance from staff, to search for and secure employment. Workshops ranging from; Financial literacy to basic education to substance abuse are regularly held.
PROVIDING:
Incentive based sporting events, structured to teach money management and social building skills.
Therapeutic Creative writing workshops
Individualized treatment planning
Advanced mental health treatment for depression, self-injury and Psychological Trauma
Up to 5 individual therapy session per month (case by case)
Group Therapy
Holistic activities including meditation The overall goal is to provide our clients a path to long-term stability and well-being with a balanced approach the clients will be able to follow in their daily lives after successfully completing the program.
BALANCE: Clients start with our intake assessment, which may reveal possible emotional barriers or trauma. we will then formulate an individualized treatment plan during the admission process as well as discuss the discharge planning needs of our clients. Once identified, the client will work closely with our staff to develop a comprehensive discharge exit strategy to provide continuity of care and to assist the client and their families in maintaining gains made they have made throughout our housing and treatment program.
ELIGIBILITY: In order to be eligible for Supportive Housing and applicant must be displace, face displacement, reentry from correctional facility, live in the state of Maryland, have a diagnosis that meets the priority population definition for adults, be eligible for Medical Assistance, and have a CLEAR NEED for REHABILITATION or SUPPORT.
It is very important to understand that SUPPORTIVE HOUSING SERVICES are not the same as Assisted Living Housing, and that HOUSING IS ONLY PROVIDED as a part of the SPH (Supportive Housing Program) All Residents are REQUIRED to contribute to the cost of their Care and are expected to do their part towards the care and cleanliness of the residence.

Drug And Alcohol Rehab programs are intended to treat alcohol and/or drug dependency. The cost of participating in one of these programs and the method of treatment range significantly.
