Our organization is a faith-based housing agency in Wake County, North Carolina that serves individuals from diverse backgrounds who have Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities, Mental Illness, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Veterans, the Aging, Homeless Individuals, Physically Handicapped Individuals, those recovering from Substance Abuse, and those who need Temporary Transitional Housing. We offer varying levels of medical assistance, transportation, and supervision tailored specifically to the needs of each resident. Our housing programs range from independent living via room and board rentals, to semi-independent living with minimal assistance, and finally to group housing with 24/7 live-in care. Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses.
