Class of Housing/Services: Primary point of entry for adults seeking housing and services.

General Information:
San Gabriel Valley Coordinated Entry System CES intake site. Primary point of entry for adults seeking housing and services. Visit this site to start the process of finding housing or services. Office hours: Mondays, Wednesdays 9am to 5pm. Thursdays 9am to 2pm. Programs All of our programs are designed to meet our clients where they are at and provide them with the resources and compassionate facilitation to transform their own lives. It is important that the people that utilize our services feel like they are part of the Friends In Deed family.  Some of the people that receive food from the Food Pantry are currently volunteers.  With some of our other programs, like The Women’s Room and The Bad Weather Shelter, many of our past clients have returned to volunteer in one capacity or another.  Our doors are open and we hope that everyone who walks through feels welcomed and important. We run three of our innovative, trans-formative support programs from our Friends In Deed House (444 E. Washington Blvd., Pasadena on the SE corner of Washington & Los Robles) year round.  These are The Food Pantry, The Women’s Room, and Homeless Prevention.  The Bad Weather Shelter has, historically, been run from Pasadena Covenant Church (539 N. Lake Avenue, Pasadena) from Thanksgiving until mid-March.  And Norma’s Nook is housed in First United Methodist Church of Pasadena (500 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena). Friends In Deed’s programs include the following:     The Food Pantry     The Women’s Room     The Bad Weather Shelter     Norma’s Nook     Homeless Prevention     Other Programs

As A General Note About ShelterListings.org Listings:
ShelterListings.org does our best to provide listings that are free of cost. Many of the homeless shelters and services are free of charge. Some do charge small fees. We always urge the users of our website to visit the websites of the providers listed, OR give them a phone call to find out complete details.

In furtherance; Halfway Houses, Transitional Housing, and Substance Abuse Treatment Centers for the most part charge a fee. Most of the substance abuse resources we provide are low cost, Medicaid or sliding scale fee. We provide as much information as possible on the website of these locations.

Rooming and Boarding Houses do charge fees. We list them where we find them. They are a nice low cost option for housing.
