Class of Housing/Services: Youth shelter. Ages under 18

General Information:
The residence provides temporary shelter for up to 21 days for youth under the age of 18. The facility houses up to six youth at any one time. Staff work in three eight hour shifts to provide round the clock coverage. Staff provide guidance, supervision, and support for youth. The program provides youth an opportunity acquire the skills to positively interact with adults, easing the transition back to family life. Youth are provided with, showers, laundry service, clothing, and snacks. Youth are required to be in school or educational programs and participate in counseling sessions. Social and recreational activities are offered. Each youth is provided with an orientation and house rules, is required to clean their own space and complete daily chores.
