Class of Housing/Services: The Lighthouse Outreach Center is a Christian organization that provides goods, shelter, clothing and other necessities for the homeless people who exhibit feelings of hopelessness.

General Information:
Open 24 hours a day. The Lighthouse Outreach Center is a Christian organization that provides goods, shelter, clothing and other necessities for the homeless people who exhibit feelings of hopelessness. We provide this with a family atmosphere of love and peace, teaching them of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Lighthouse provides the resources it takes to guide and direct the homeless to be self-sufficient citizens in our community. The Lighthouse Outreach Center, a Christian based homeless shelter, in Bartlesville Oklahoma has served thousands of people since its founding in 1992. With a maximum capacity of 75 people. The Lighthouse is the only 24-hour homeless shelter within a 50-mile radius. Residents at the Lighthouse are given 3 meals a day and are required to attend weekly Chapel services on-site if they are not working. Each resident has assigned chores to keep our home clean and safe. They are responsible for the day-to day maintenance of both the living and common areas; including everything from routine cleaning to mowing the grounds around the facility. Working residents are required to pay 15% of their income to help offset operating expenses and to teach personal responsibility. We have recently remodeled our kitchen, dining hall and constructed a new men's dormitory funded by private foundation grants. We are currently in the process of constructing a new chapel funded by both private donors and a matching fund grant. All of our funding comes from private donors, churches, and foundations. We are not affiliated with the United Way and function as a private 501-C3 non-profit organization.
