Services Halfway House – Adult Male Outpatient – Adult and Adolescent Male and Female
Our first step is to screen to insure that we are the right place for you. If we are not, we will refer you to one or more appropriate facilities and provide you with phone numbers so that you can make those calls. If we are, you will be given the next available appointment. If there is some wait involved, we will provide you with the names and phone numbers of alternative or interim resources where you can find help and ask if we can call you to assess your status while you are waiting for admission.
We are proud that New Hope is able to charge reasonable fees for the high quality services it delivers. In addition to accepting private payment, we contract with most major managed care organizations (HMOs, PPOs) and insurance plans. Federal, State and County governments have also contracted with New Hope for a variety of services. Our screening and intake counselors will help you determine your covered insurance or HMO benefits, or if you qualify for grant funding or any of the sliding fee scale programs that are available.

Halfway Housing helps transition individuals and families from shelters or homelessness to permanent housing. Length of stay is usually anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Residents are often required to pay at least 30% of their income toward program fees. Sometimes the money they pay in fees is returned to them when they leave. Any emergency or homeless shelter that allows their clients to stay more then 6 months is also classified under this category.
Oftentimes halfway houses also assist in the treatment of substance abuse and/or alcohol and drug detox. Speak with the halfway house to see if this applies.
