The Passageway to Peace at the Cedars is located in Wilmington, NC. The physical space of a sober living home influences recovery by providing a place to learn (and re-learn) how to live life sober. The attitudes and actions within the house enhance recovery: seeing successes of other house members, working with sponsors and attending 12-step meetings. These are the added benefits of a sober living house beyond the aspects of the physical living space that are beneficial. We believe a quality living space influences early recovery.
