Class of Housing/Services: Shelter and Transitional housing for women.

General Information:
Day Center: Mondays through Sundays 8am to 3pm.   Night Shelter Mondays through Sundays 6:45pm to 7:45am.   The Sophia Way provides the Eastside’s only program exclusively dedicated to helping end homelessness for adult women in King County by offering a path from homelessness to stable independent living. TSW’s core programs facilitate this transition by providing a safe place for women during the day, offering a six-month intensive shelter program for twenty one women at night, offering case management to help clients overcome barriers to independence, and providing transitional and non-time limited housing opportunities for women who experience chronic homelessness. Sophia’s Place Shelter Program is our 21-bed shelter that provides the women with semi-private cubicles furnished with raised beds and individual lockers, as well two healthy meals every day (breakfast and dinner).
