24-Hour Crisis Line: 1-219-931-2090 Haven House, Inc., founded in 1983 and located in Hammond, Indiana is a 24-hour emergency shelter for domestic violence victims and their dependents. Haven House provides services to Hammond, East Chicago, Whiting, Munster, Griffith, and Highland, which comprises a significant geographic area of Northwest Indiana. Haven House NWI provides emergency shelter and support services for domestic violence survivors and their children in Northwest Indiana and surrounding areas.
