Class of Housing/Services: Temporary homeless shelter for men, women, families.

General Information:
The mission of the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter is to provide men, women, and families with temporary shelter and physical, emotional and spiritual support. A caring staff assists guests with developing and prioritzing goals for their return to the community as productive members     Shelter Donation Needs: Basic Pantry: Coffee Sugar, Creamer Cereal Mayonnaise Salad dressing Salt & Pepper Kids snacks Lunch meat Household items: Dish soap Laundry Detergent Garbage bags Dryer sheets Small Ziploc bags Large Ziploc bags Plastic cups Personal Items: Large bottles of Shampoo Large bottles of Conditioner Tampons Razors Sunscreen Umbrellas  **We are in urgent need of black pants for both men and women—many of our guests need them for work. We are most in need of Women's sizes 10, 12, and 14 and men’s sizes 34, 36, and 38. We are also looking for people to serve as Back Up Meal Providers. Occasionally, we have meal providers that have an emergency that comes up or they need to take a month off. If you are willing to help please call and give us your name.  We ask all that food be in-date and unopened.  Grocery gift cards, Staples, Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart, and K-Mart gift cards are ALWAYS welcomed!
