General Information:
River Haven Youth Shelter (10-17) is a voluntary program designed to address the emergency needs of runaway homeless and other at risk youth as well as their families. The program provides crisis intervention services; individual, group, and family counseling. Emergency shelter is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 845-454-3600 Independent Living Support Program is designe d to provide support and assistance to older homeless youth (16-21) who are working towards a goal of self sufficiency. The program is staffed Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm. 845-454-2300 Transitional Living Program is designed to allow homeless youth the opportunity to live in a safe supervised, supportive environment. While in the program residents develope the skills and means to ultimately transition to independent living. An application and screening process is required. 845-454-2300
