General Information:
The Healing Place of Wake County is a rescue, substance abuse recovery and rehabilitation facility for Wake County residents. Individuals with substance abuse issues can enter the program to regain sobriety or can stay only one night in the emergency overnight shelters. Overnight guests are transported to and from pick-up sites listed below. Walk-ups are not permitted. Men's facility – Pick up overnight guests at 4 p.m. at South Wilmington St. Center. Women's facility – Pick up overnight guests at 3:30 p.m. at Women's Center, Hargett and Blount streets.   The Healing Place (Men's Facility) 838-9800 1251 Goode Drive, Raleigh, NC 27603  The Healing Place (Women's Facility) 838-9800 3304 Glen Royal Road, Raleigh, NC2761 Serving homeless women from Wake County, ages 18 and older. Offers overnight shelter, 3-5 day non-medical detox center, 7-12 month long-term recovery program. Pregnant women may stay in the overnight shelter but are not admitted to detox or the recovery program. Walk-ups are not allowed and beds are not reserved. In order to enter the emergency night shelter, women must be at the Women's Center (112 Cox Avenue, Raleigh) by 3:15 pm each day for the van pick-up.
