Class of Housing/Services: Drop-In Day Shelter for Women and Children

General Information:
Drop-In Day Shelter for Women and Children Re:Center's Drop-In Day Shelter is a safe place to come during the day for homeless and vulnerable women and their young children (age 7 and under). While here, they may receive various services, love, care, and support in their unique set of circumstances. Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please provide I.D. at check-in window each visit. Daily Services:     A SAFE space.     MAIL: Guests may utilize Re:Center's address at 733 E. Jefferson Street, Louisville, KY 40202 to receive personal mail.  Must complete a verification form and check mail in-person every 14 days or less.     LAUNDRY: By appointment or standby only. Available Time Slots M-F: 8:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m.     STORAGE: Guests can store personal belongings by reserving a space in our storage room to keep their items. Guests must check on their belongings at least once every 30 days.     SHOWERS: Available M-F: 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. as ‘first come first serve.' Towels and hygiene products are provided upon request.     RESTROOMS: Guests have access to restrooms during normal operating hours.     Additional RESOURCES: Various other resources and occasional case management are provided when possible.
