General Information:
24-hour emergency walk-in shelter Day shelter, drop in center that provides a legal mailing address, food pantry, clothing room, and access to telephone, copier, and fax machine. bag Lunches are prepared and delivered by the dedicated volunteer groups who have been part of our meals program for years. On a daily basis, meals are provided to 100 people. - Lunches are prepared off-site and transported by dedicated volunteers. On a daily basis, meal groups provide lunches for 100 people. - Dinners are also prepared off-site, transported and served by dedicated volunteer groups. Meals are served on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings through Broad Street United Methodist Church - To make arranges to provide meals, please contact Harry Yeprem during regular business hours Financial Management Services include: - Individualized Safety Bank Club savings and financial management accounts - SSI Payeeship Program, assisting homeless and recently homeless persons needing third party money management for Federal Entitlements. The Program assumes this responsibility until a permanent fiduciary agent and support system is in place - Entitlement Coordination assists homeless persons applying for disability benefits Housing Options Services including: - Advocacy and Assistance securing Supportive Housing - Advocacy and Assistance securing Public (Subsidized) Housing - Landlord/Tenant Mediation and Advocacy - Advocacy and referral for Shelter Access - Advocacy and Referral for AOD and Mental Health residential treatment.
