General Information:
Transitional housing and shelter. Provides critical follow up and support to help ensure clients' permanent stability outside the shelter. Services include: assistance in finding safe, affordable housing and necessary household items; referrals to community agencies for specialized counseling or medical treatment; and weekly support groups and home visits which provide the opportunity to evaluate each client's progress and need for further assistance. Eligibility: Must be a client or former client of Shelter of Flint. Application process: Apply during regular office hours. Mondays through Fridays 8am - 4pm.
