Housing Authority. Provides affordable housing for those who qualify. Sharon Ridge is a 20 apartment complex built in 1992, and extensively renovated in 2008. There are 2-1 Bedroom apartments, 14-2 bedroom apartments and 4-3 Bedroom apartments. Two units are handicap accessible. Sharon Ridge is presently working on expanding with more units,especially one bedroom apartments. We have our own public water system, and are connected to the Town of Sharon's sewer system. Rents are calculated at 30% of an applicant's adjusted income, or the basic rent, whichever is higher. Rents are subject to adjustment, as budgets are approved, BUT presently basic rents are: $425. for a one bedroom, $460. for a two bedroom and $500 for a 3 bedroom apartment.
