General Information:
24 hour shelter for homeless women with or without children. Midway Shelter is the City of Alameda’s only homeless shelter. Open 24 hours daily offering 25 beds for women and women with children. Serves 3 meals a day and provides showers, laundry, clothing, case management, support groups and children's activities. Length of stay is 29 days with the possibility of extension depending on progress with case plan. Shelter offers the same services as the San Leandro Shelter and is supported by the Alameda Homeless Network, an umbrella organization of community partners.
