Class of Housing/Services: Emergency shelter for families with children.

General Information:
Family Promise utilizes a “housing first” approach to helping families overcome the crisis of homelessness and regain housing stability so that the experience of homelessness for families in Central Florida is rare and brief. Emergency shelter for families with children. Eligibility for shelter services: Adults need to be employable, wo disabilities and without significant substance abuse or mental health issues. Can only work days. Children to age 18 allowed with parent. Need photo ID or birth certificate and SS card. No criminal history. This is not a free shelter. 80% of income goes into savings that will be used for credit repair, outstanding debts and future security deposits and rent. Call for an interview. Call between Monday through Thursday from 10am - 4pm.
