General Information:
Serenity Manor is a Board and Lodge with special services for sober men. We have 12 bedrooms that can accommodate 20 male Residents. There are 4 bathrooms,living room, 1 large dinning room, recreation room with weight lifting and exercise equipment. Continental breakfast, home cooked lunch and dinner. close to shopping and many amenities. A verity meetings near by. Hospital, Clinics, dental, and Vision care all within walking distance. Maintaining sobriety, attending meetings and working towards a sober life is a requirement. Serenity Manor is licensed By the MN Department of Health as a Board and Lodge with special service. Special services as defined by Mn state statue means; the provision of supervision and minimal assistance with independent living skills such as social and recreational opportunities, assistance with transportation arranging for meetings and appointments, and arranging for medical and social services. Supportive services also include providing reminders to residents to take medications that are self-administered or providing storage for medications if requested. Medication is controlled and administer as prescribed, by house staff. Serenity Manor is NOT a halfway house or directly provide chemical dependency treatment. They assist men in getting the service they need but do not preform on site treatment.

Halfway Housing helps transition individuals and families from shelters or homelessness to permanent housing. Length of stay is usually anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.  Residents are often required to pay at least 30% of their income toward program fees.  Sometimes the money they pay in fees is returned to them when they leave.
