Services Provided: Adult Homeless shelter, emergency food assistance, genesis house family shelter. Adult Homeless Shelter We can house thirty-one men and ten women.  We provide a continental breakfast, coffee and juice, every morning.  A hot meal is served every evening by one of our churches or organizations.  Shower and laundry facilities are available.  A day room is also provided for residents to come in from the weather. Genesis House Family Shelter We added onto our facility in 2001 and built the Genesis House for families.  We are able to house eight families.  Each family is provided a private room and bath.  A small kitchen and pantry provides our residents the liberty of preparing their own meals.  Every evening we eat together in our community dining hall.  Our churches and organizations provide a delicious meal every evening.  We also have a large living room for T.V. viewing and a playroom for the children with lot's of games and books for their enjoyment. Emergency Food Assistance We offer emergency food assistance to our community.  We work closely with the Department of Social Services and other agencies in town to help families that are truly in need.  We are able to help families if they are not on food stamps or who can only draw $50.00 food stamps per month.  Food is donated by churches, schools and civic organizations.  If you would like to help us with a local food drive, please call our office and ask for details.  336-248-6684 or 336-248-5930
