MEN'S SHELTER ?After passing an entry interview, and a background check, Jesus House Odessa's board of directors believes that kindness leads to even more hope for the future. A place to lay their heads at night is a great place to start. WOMEN'S AND CHILDREN'S CENTER In the works is a center for women and their children. With housing and food, This will be a place where they can start over and realize what they are actually capable of with God's guidance. SOUP KITCHEN Our soup kitchen is open to all who need assistance with meals. Breakfast and lunch are provided by different churches and wonderful volunteers who prepare and serve a hot meal. Hours Tues - Fri: 6am-6:30am breakfast Tues- Thurs: 11:00 - 11:30 lunch COMMUNITY CENTER ?The coming center will house the new Soup Kitchen, the clothing and needs center, and in the future, life skills training. For this to happen, we need all who have knowledge in social areas and business men and women who are willing to jump on board and take them under their wing. INCLEMENT WEATHER In the winter time we strive to make sure that those who choose to stay on the streets are well taken care of with all that they need to stay warm when the temperatures are life threatening. Through donations we receive, we provide the following items on our winter needs list below.
