General Information:
Broward County Transitional Housing. Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 11am to 6:30pm Fees charged: Self-Pay, Full: HUD 30% of income or $300 which ever is less Intake procedure: Photo ID, proof of Income, birth certificates, Social Security cards and info on progress from previous shelter required Eligibility requirements: Must be a homeless working family (have a child under age 18) and referred by another agency or in Salvation Army shelter RESTRICTED REFERRAL: A transitional housing program for homeless families to assist them in obtaining self-sufficiency through weekly case management, utilization of community resources, raising education and income levels and teaching life skills. Must be employed, work at least 20 hours per week and have a negative drug screen. Families must meet with a case manager and complete an intake to determine eligibility.
