Class of Housing/Services: Non Profit Organization that provides housing assistance
General Information:
This is a Non Profit Organization that may be able to provide housing assistance. Review the details below: Community Conscience Was Founded In 1981 In Response To Thefederal Government's Plan To Reduce The Support Of Social Services And To Return The Responsibility Therefor To The Local Communities. In The Conejo Valley, California, There Were Already Several Private Nonprofit Agencies Providing Such Services Using Government And Other Grants. The Government Grants Would Soon Disappear But The Need For The Services Would Continue. Our Purpose Was To Assist Those Agencies In Transition From Government Funding To Private Funding, To Find Ways To Deliver The Services More Efficiently And To Make It Easier For Citizens To Find The Services They Need.
