A 25-bed emergency shelter for women and children who have been victims of domestic violence. Numerous services offered: restraining orders, 24 hour hot-line, children’s program and parenting program, crisis counseling, education and outreach programs to community, friends and family groups, independent life skills training workshops, legal clinic and legal advocacy, court-approved personal empowerment program, individual therapy addressing anxiety, self-esteem, co-dependency, Spanish speaking case managers, support groups, walk-in center, and a thrift store. Average length of stay is 45 days.
