Provides a halfway house, residential treatment, continuing care, life skills. Harbor house is a non profit organization. We recognize that when you enter our door at Harbor House Incorporated for treatment, you are reaching out for help and will receive an empathic, welcoming response. We take responsibility for assisting each person who enters our door for help by making sure they receive an integrated risk assessment and screening to assure safety, and supportive assistance to engage appropriate services. The programs offered here at Harbor House Incorporated provide the opportunity for a treatment relationship that integrates attention to clients’ multiple needs in treatment, and to appropriate referrals and resources during and after treatment.

Halfway Housing helps transition individuals and families from shelters or homelessness to permanent housing. Length of stay is usually anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.  Residents are often required to pay at least 30% of their income toward program fees.  Sometimes the money they pay in fees is returned to them when they leave. Any emergency or homeless shelter that allows their clients to stay more then 6 months is also classified under this category.
