General Information:
Offering emergency and temporary shelter to individuals and families in southeastern Indiana, Heart House is also a starting point for those who pass through our doors to gain encouragement and life skills to rebuild their lives. Our goal is to help clients regain their independence and self-dignity through our programs. We offer: * Employment Training * Personal Counseling * GED Training * Educational classes that emphasize childcare, mastery of finances, and household management Supporting the Community Heart House assists our clients in gaining employment and contributing back to the surrounding community. As they gain stability and transition back into the community, they provide a healthier environment for their children\'s development. Bringing Calm into the Chaos Heart House provides a rock-solid foundation for those recovering from personal trauma and emergencies. We help to reduce the confusion by providing personalized attention and assistance navigating the many pathways to self-sustenance.
