General Information:
 Permanently Closed Roy's Desert Resource Center (RDRC) services are offered to families and single adults who are homeless in the Coachella Valley.  Eligible participants are transported to and from the site after gathering at strategically located pick-up points.  Staff screen participants, coordinate case management services for clients once they have successfully completed the application process. Eligible clients are homeless, drug free, physically able to care for themselves, and have not been convicted of a violent felony or sexual offence.  Eligible clients may remain in the RDRC Program for a maximum of up to 120 days based on their progress.  Clients participate in case management activities and receive the tools necessary to secure housing and successfully end their homelessness. Clients may access services and shelter daily based upon available space by being present at the following pick-up points at the designated times daily: LOCATION     PICK-UP TIME  Drop-Off AM      Farrell and Vista Chino     6:00 AM Dinah Shore and Cathedral Canyon     6:45 AM Racquet Club and Palm Canyon      7:45 AM Farrell and Vista Chino       8:30 AM Pick-Up PM      Farrell and Vista Chino     5:15 PM Farrell and Vista Chino     6:00 PM Dinah Shore and Cathedral Canyon     6:15 PM Farrell and Vista Chino     7:00 PM Racquet Club and Palm Canyon     7:15 PM The Racquet Club stop is located 1/4 block East of the intersection on the South side of the street. The Farrell/Vista Chino stop is located at Sun Bus stop on the West side of the street. Dinah Shore/Cathedral Canyon stop - Calvary Christian Center, 68550 Dinah Shore Drive, Cathedral City, CA  92234.   Supportive services include:     Living skills     Budgeting instruction     Case management     Community referrals and access to benefits     Advocacy     Employment assistance     Access to education     Housing placement assistance     Mental health and substance abuse services     Public Health Nursing Services     Clothing services     Breakfast and hot evening meal     Bus passes     Transportation to and from shelter     Showers     Laundry     After school tutoring and snacks     Personal toiletry items
