General Information:
Kaleidoscope provides short term transitional housing up to 90 days for youths between the ages of 10 and 17. The program is free of charge. The program has the capacity to house up to 12 youths at a time. Other services include: 3 meals and 2 snacks daily, clothing, school enrollment, tutoring, basic medical care and opportunity to obtain GED. Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses.
