General Information:
Passages provides up to 2 years of transitional housing for homeless youths ages 16 to 21. Residents may stay free of charge. Passages will provide you with an apartment or an apartment to share. The program has the capacity to house up to 13 youths at a time. It is required that resident get GED and a job. Potential clients may contact Passages for application and to determine if program is appropriate for them. Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses.
