Class of Housing/Services: We are not a shelter, we do have a motel voucher program for homeless families.

General Information:
Family Rescue Temporary Shelter for parents or guardians with minor children, or with a child who is 18 and currently enrolled in high school. Women who are pregnant in last trimester (7 months) may also apply.  We are one of the few, if not the only, option for single fathers with children. This is for a one week stay in a motel. Applicants must have custody of minor children. To book a prescreening you MUST have the following: Valid California ID/DL for all adults MUST have social security cards and birth certificates for all household members including adults Proof of income for current month (ALL sources) Proof of custody of all minor children (School verification, DHA printout that includes all members on case, ss #'s, D.O.B & benefits amount Calfresh and CalWorks) No late arrivals Applicants must call (916) 443-2646 after 9 a.m. on Monday mornings for appointment availability. Please note that appointments are limited and book quickly.
