General Information:
Project Hope is not just a place to eat and sleep but is also an organization that provides a goal-oriented program staffed by people who truly care about our guests' well being. Our program has three phases and a maximum stay of 45 days. Guests are able to arrive at 7 p.m. each evening with a reservation. Reservations can be secured by calling 211 from any land line in Lake County or 440.639.4420 from a cell phone. Guests depart at 6:30 a.m. and are transported to the Salvation Army  at 69 Pearl St., Painesville Monday through Friday. During the weekends and holidays, guests are transported to the North St. Clair street bus stop. As the only emergency homeless shelter in Lake County, Project Hope for the Homeless provides shelter, care and basic needs for up to 35 adults and children each night. Guests may stay up to 45 days, and each year, more than 50 percent of Project Hope's shelter guests successfully transition into a better living situation.
