Class of Housing/Services: emergency shelter program for families.

General Information:
Office hours: Mondays through Fridays 9am to 5pm. Emergency Shelter Program This program is designed to offer families with children emergency shelter and case management services while they work to regain self-sufficiency. To qualify, a family must be homeless according to the federal (HUD) definition. We can assist up to four families (or fourteen people) at a time. Families are overnight at local community facilities. A facility has the families for one week, and on Sunday there is a rotation to the next community facility. During the day, our families are based out of our Day Center at 4938 Oleander Drive. All families’ ultimate goal is to identify sustainable permanent housing and be working diligently toward that goal.
