Transitional Living Program: 202-675-9385 TLP@sashabruce.org The Transitional Living Program proivdes young adults between the ages of 18 and 21 with up to 12 months of transitional housing. Participants live in SBY-managed apartments. Residents are required to be enrolled in school, work part-time and save portions of their income. Some residents contribute to rent. Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses.
