Another number:  800-388-3888 The Crisis Center provides up to 30 days of emergency shelter for homeless youth under the age of 21. After 30 days referrals are often made to long-term transitional living programs. There are special programs for clients who suffer from mental illness and/or substance-abuse issues as well as for mothers with children. The center serves about 250 clients a day.
