Class of Housing/Services: Teenage crisis shelter.

General Information:
Laurel House provides temporary shelter for youth between the ages of 12 and 17. The home consists of 6 beds. Teenage crisis shelter. A six-bed facility with shared rooms for girls ages 12-17. Open for teenagers who are willing to work and make changes in life. Family must be involved. No teens with drugs, gangs, on probation, pregnant or that have violent behavior. A sliding scale fee program. Teens must be enrolled in school. Maximum stay is 6 to 12 months, but may stay longer depending on circumstances. Not a rehabilitation center. No drugs or alcohol allowed. English only spoken but Spanish translators are available. All teens screened for STDs.
