Another number: 213-629-1227 The Urban Training Institute is 2 year residential program for men and women who have suffered from homelessness and/or substance abuse. The program consists of 3 phases: 1. Jump Start Includes a one month course allowing participants to "test the waters" to see if hey'd like to make a 2-year commitment. 2. Fresh Start Consists of relational rehabilitation. Students are required to pursue academic studies and vocational training. 3. Work Start The Mission's Career Development Department trains and counsels students while they transition back into society. Drug And Alcohol Rehab programs are intended to treat alcohol and/or drug dependency.  The cost of participating in one of these programs and the method of treatment range significantly.
