General Information:
The Troxel Family Life Center operates as a transitional facility which assists victims of domestic violence, homelessness, and destructive lifestyles. When first entering the program, women stay in the transitional dorm. After a two week period, they enter into the first phase of the program and are moved into a room. The program consists of four phases. Throughout these phases women are involved in Bible studies, life skills classes, parenting classes, budgeting, and work internship. Childcare is provided through the Lighthouse Community Preschool. During school holidays, the children of the Troxel Shelter enjoy special activities hosted by volunteers. Services inlcude: - Food - Clothing - Education - Referral services - On site job training - Career advancement training - Counseling - Case management - Discipleship - Structured classes in budgeting, parenting, and spiritual growth For more information contact Lighthouse Ministries or visit the Lighthouse Ministries website.
