General Information:
This is a Christian based recovery program. The SBCRM Recovery and Discipleship program facility is located some 20 miles out in the Mojave Desert from Adelanto, California. Far from ordinary this 25 bed program for men called Awakening Ranch is setting new standards in drug and alcohol recovery programs. Job training starts after about 6 weeks and continues through out the one year program. We are not through with them when they graduate though. SBCRM also has a transitional housing program for up to 6 graduates. It is there to help the men get into their own place, establish themselves in a good job and continue the long road of recovery in a safe place where there is day to day accountability. Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness.
